Lots of exciting new things happening here at the studio, probably none of which you are aware of.  Just got to thinking that for a person who preaches that light doth make manifest, I do not do a very good job manifesting what’s happening here.  I apologize.

Let’s start with tomorrow, Saturday December 6^th.  I along with 23 merchants of the downtown am celebrating with various seasonal activities, more about that at www.shopdowntownchaska.org.  At my studio I will be exhibiting students of my oil painting classes along with my work.  David Lloyd Gallery, next door to me here will have a one man show of a wide range of my work available.  His beautiful space and its unique ability to show unframed pieces wonderfully will allow me to display a wide range of plein air paintings at incredibly low prices.  I’m talking deals here!  I will also have blank greeting cards available with tasteful images of florals as well as other plein air work.

As if that isn’t enough, I will be hosting a drawing for a free original oil painting down here in the local area.  Wow!  Not far away at the MN Landscape Arboretum the folks there are in full holiday festive mood.  I have 5 paintings in the current show in their Reedy Gallery, “Holiday Spirits”.

There’s more about videos, art classes and books, but let’s save that for the future.  I look forward to seeing those who can make it.
