In the book of Exodus, in chapter three, Moses see's a bush that burned, but was not consumed.  Reading on we get to know that Moses turned aside to see this wonder and next, the Lord God called unto him from the midst of the bush.  The revelation that he received eventually led Moses to bring the children of Israel from Egypt and into the Promise Land.

While not exactly the same, this tree spoke to me.  Yes, I wasn't in the deserts of Arabia but in the Minnesota...but the freezing temperature kept the Caravan's (along with other models) off the lanes of commerce.  And the tree, well-it wasn't burning per se, but it's icy branches crackled and flickered sure enough.  And the voice from the midst of the bush...yes, from behind my tree, is the form of a church.

May we all hear His voice.  May we all burn inside and feel His closeness to us.
