Choosing flowers over frostbite

Well it can’t last forever.  Can it?

One can hope this weather changes, and I hope someone out there is that one.  As for me, I am just planning to stay inside and paint something bright and happy, maybe something like flowers.  The roses from Valentines are fading, but there are plenty more to choose from.   Although I’d prefer to be knee deep outside painting them in the garden, the cut variety will do just fine.

And I invite you once again to join me for another flower painting class starting in just under two weeks.  Check out the Events and Class tab on my website for more details.  We are going to be going at it again with a staggered schedule…one short three hour class, followed by a five and a half hour class the following week, repeating alternately for six sessions.  Also new for this session is an open set up Friday class where students can pick subjects of their own liking….sorry, no photographs.   Information on my new and improved Color Class running in the end of March will be coming soon.  Till then stay warm, drink something hot and put another log on the fire.
